Coming into spring and warmer weather, you should expect to see an uptick in water usage. Water is necessary for both the birds and the environmental regulation in the house, so it is important that growers are ready with adequate water supply and water quality. While water consumption is arguably the most important factor in bird health and performance, it is also the most difficult to measure. To make sure that birds are drinking enough, and wasting little, be adamant about line height, water quality, drinker cleanliness, and water pressures. All of the incoming water has a purpose, and waste isn’t one of them!
